Perhaps my favourite one-liner of Hillary Clinton against Barack Obama during the primary was what she said at a GM Plant in Ohio. "You know some people may think words are change. But you and I know better, words are cheap!" says Clinton. Although she was talking economics, I was sure she wanted to apply it to foreign policy.
Yesterday, she even said to stand behind her new boss, yes the one whose words she called "cheap" and whose charisma she mocked endlessly.
Having said all of this, I did have my concerns on Clinton's credentials. I just read a series of liners from Dana Milbank's new article. The biggest irony was that during the primary season, Obama also mocked Clinton's so-called foreign policy experience. In fact, it reminded me of Donald Trump claiming all Condelizza Rice does is to wave her hand.
Now Hillary Clinton has all the opportunities to prove to her boss how loyal she is to him and that her "words are cheap" statement was nothing. She also has to show that she has more foreign policy experience than just landing in Bosnia under sniper fire, assuming that was true (of course it wasn't).
I couldn't be more critical because just as John McCain = 3rd Bush term, Barack Obama might be the 3rd Clinton term to a point where he hires a Clinton to nothing less with his cabinet.
